Tension for Solinco Tour Bite

I've been looking for the perfect string for me, and I think I'm gonna go for the Solinco Tour Bite. It's more durable than my old RPM Blast and it provides great spin.
However, what tension should I string it at on my 2012 Babolat AeroPro Drive GT? I read on her that I should go low with poly so that I can increase durability and pocketing, so I strung my Blast up at 52, but that gave me less control, so I want to know what other people are doing.
Thanks!

I strung Tour Bite in my Pure Drive Play at 55LBS and haven't had any arm issues , but that's just me. I would recommend stringing it the same as your RPM (52).

I use a hybrid poly syn gut @ 52 / 56 but when stringing full poly I use 52. It's all a matter of preferance. Most players at my club string full poly in their pure drives and pro drives @ 55 pounds

Any new strings to you, or new tension, requires a period of adjustment, unless you have flat strokes.
I'd say, high 40's. I use 47 on my DunlopAero300's with STBite16 gauge. Slightly higher if I used 17 gauge.
Learn to hit THROUGH the ball, not brush from low to high.
Might take a week of adjustment, playing 5 days.
NOTHING is worth doing if you can step right in and do it immediately.

When I played it in the 2013 APD I strung tour bite at 54 or 55 pounds and it compliments the racquet very well. Great string for this lively frame.

And what about Tour Bite Soft 1.20 ?
I would like to string it on my APD 13 but I don't know what tension will be the best. Due to the softness, I hesitate to string it below 53/51 lbs. What do you think ? Thanks.

I would go with the same tension as with the old string, then adjust from there if you don't like it.

you want to be able to compare the 2 strings which is kinda hard if you change 2 variables.

If you change tension and string you might not like it and then don't know whether it is the string or tension.

The best day of playing I ever had was when I strung my RPM Blast at 58 lbs. I tied a thick rubber band to where the dampener should go, and I like it a lot. I'm guessing it because it increased the tension. So, should I go with 58 if I liked it on my RPM Blast?

This. In addition, remember that any value given here is irrelevant since we're all stringing on different machines, using different techniques, and in many cases, different frames.

What is the difference of using a crank machine and drop weight machine?

48-52 is what you should gun for regardless of the gauge. Find the gauge that works the best when you're using that tension for the string.

I like 35 on an APD like racket.
At first, it felt a little soft, strings moving and absorbing some power and spin. After 3 hours of play, it's solid, from flat serves to heavy slice skidders.
I do have a 105 sized racket with 40lbs., and it could be dropped a couple of pounds.

I wouldn't recommend going lower than 30 on a full bed, unless you chop every stroke and looking for more power all the time.
Some 70+ year old guys use poly tensions down to 20, but those guys don't ever hit flat, topspin, or even try hitting fast moving balls. Instead, they redirect your pace with a side/underspin stunted swing, going for short angles, and low skidding balls.
