I wanted to find out if anyone has played with a Bab VS mains, Lux ALU crosses hybrid, and what your experience was with tension loss. Would the mains hold tension better, and therefore I should have the crosses strung tighter? I'm thinking of stringing 60/58, but I'm afraid the Lux will lose tension a lot faster than the gut. I'm not a string breaker and usually keep string jobs for about two months. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

ALU doesn't lose tension as fast as many other poly strings. It feels stiffer than gut, of course. I wouldn't raise the tension to try to make up for the tension loss. Your suggested tensions sound fine to me.

Thanks, Gaines. I'll give that setup a try then.
