I string my 110 with Gosen at 60 lbs.
I find after 15 hours of play that I need to restring due to tension loss.
Is this a short period of time.
I am a 3.5 and don't hit the ball extremely hard

Gosen is not a great choice for tension stability, even for medium pace hitters. Using the thinner 17 gauge makes it even worse. I'd recommend a more durable & tension stable string for the mains and use the gosen 17 for the crosses. Try a soft poly for mains or a durable synthetic like PSGD (prince syn gut duraflex). Check out the stringforum reviews database to find a string you'll like.

15 hours is pretty good. For me thats a month of good playability from my strings since I play twice a week. 16g has more material and wont stretch as much as 17g. Try 16g in your string.
