tension reduction for 'soft' polys?

If switching from synth to full 'soft' poly, how much (if any) tension reduction is advised?
I'm specifically curious about the following two:
    - synth to cyberflash
    - synth to cyberblue
What got me wondering is that I started playing cyberflash 17 with a relatively small reduction in tension from what I liked with synth (58 lbs vs 62 on a 107 sq in frame) -- it feels great, gives me no arm problems at all, and feels like I could comfortably go tighter. I want to try cyberblue 17 too, and that's even 'softer'.
Any input you guys could provide would be appreciated -- I don't string my own rackets, so experimenting can get expensive...
    Thanks.

I wouldn't say CF is a soft poly. If you liked it at 58lbs, why not stay there?
My experience with soft polys such as CB or big ace are that you don't really need to lower tension.
