Played with 850 pro...very nice string, broke after 2:45hrs.
Played 1 hr. with Gosen JC and liked it as well...crisp, strings dont move too much, will test it some more next week
    Tomorrow Lasertour is up.

Do you play on clay or is your setup just particularly hard on strings. I normally get about 15 hours with the 850. I only play hard courts though, and I do use a midsize frame, so it's not the hardest on strings.

I see. It's probably the combination of the more open pattern, stiffer frame, and I don't try to hit serious spin on every shot. I tend to mix up slice, flat, and spin.

Didnt like gamma marathon and xl....no more gamma strings for me
    my top 3 were:
    1. 850 spin (amazing string!!!)
    2. lasertour
    3. gosen jc

I will try 850 spin and lasertour at 10 lbs lower to see how the durability increases and if i still like them at that tension.
