what a poor match from marcos... :(
sad to end the season like this... especially as he played well in tokyo-shanghai-stockholm.

He's doing it for years in every match, and the court seems to be very slow...

He made some nice shots, but he was playing against a wall after all.

Exactly how he just won. Takes patience, not sure Marcos ever had much of that.

Karolina Sprem might be Croatian. That would make sense.

I think his mind was not into it. Maybe he just wants to go home to his wife and kid, and was not 100% into the match. Obviously I'm making excuses for him now but there we go.

    No.
Good match from Simon, 25W, 20UES 13/15 at the net, played aggressive when needed, more winners and less UES than Bagdatis (11W, 28UES).

I like him too. He is tall, but isn't just a big server. He looks like a "young Cilic" (which is playing against him right now).

Really looking forward to seeing how TheDolgo, Nishikori and Tsonga do in this tourny. Nishikori could be the real deal, would love to see a run from him outside of Asia.

I like the fact that he used a drop shot to win the match, that shot failed him at least 5 times that match.

Indeed. This is the tyoe of match he used to lose regularly...now he is beating people ranked higher than him and finding his pace slowly. I am excited and happy for him.

Who, in the whole globe, trusts in the Dog? Sijsling is a set and double break ahead of him.

The Dog doesn't do well when he makes a deep run in a tournament and has to turn around and play the next week. See DC earlier this year and what he did the following week in Toronto against Steps in losing 6-3 6-1. At least he got 2 more games today.

hahahaha he is a dutch that plays majority by his serve. He is more a challenger player, who likes indoor courts.

Verdasco getting his *** whipped right now. Down 5-0 to Querrey and he's won 1 points thus far.

Play already called and Benny Paire decides to re-grip his racquet! Guess that's cool at a French tourney.

I don't see good things for Verdasco next year, could have trouble staying in the top 50.
