    I'd say Pro's Pro Blackout.

Basically Black Code, but for a whole lot less!

This is a pick-3. You have to compromise somewhere between high quality, low price, and high playability. Truth be told, however, I think that Tourna Big Hitter Black 7 and Dunlop Black Widow are really the best choices here. Whether they're "cheap" is a matter of preference.

Tourna Big Hitter Black 7 is a spin machine, is pretty comfortable, and lasts about two weeks. It's good, and the price is right. I have a reel that I am more than halfway through already.

150$ dunlop widow is too pricey, im looking into the sub 100$ range for a reel. Tourna big hitter black seems to fit my needs! Anything else even cheaper?

Tourna Big Hittier Black is honestly your best bet. I just did a review for it for Stringforum and I think it will contend for the next reel I buy after Ice depending on how durable it is.

Don't overlook the Kirschbaum Spiky Shark at $6 a set if you get their 4 pack special from TW. I've got a 4 pack on the way

As others have mentioned, BHB7 along with WC Black5Edge and MSV Focus Hex are great strings.

^^^Although I am biased by just liking the feel of WC poly, I think that B5E is a far greater string overall than BHB7. It is not, however, a better spin string.

regarding durability of the BHB7 - seriously, you could probably tow your car with it. I'd be surprised if anyone could snap that string.

also of note - seems to work better in warm (>70 degree) temps. Gets a little stiffer at lower temps, but I guess all poly's do that already anyway.

Last July, I had a full bed of BHB7 in my TF 325 and my serves and groundies were getting really good spin.

Genesis Black Magic 17 by a mile. No idea if its shaped, but its generates ample amounts of spin as well as offering control etc.

ProPro's Blackout 17 is pretty spin friendly and even cheaper but it doesn't last long before going dead and performance dropping off.

Tourna BHB7 is very spin orientated but more expensive than the above. A bit too elastic for volleying but then if you're glued to the baseline, it probably won't bother you.

I thought Black Magic was smooth. I've tried Black Widow, Tornado and B5E as main strings. B5E was great, the other two I did not care for.
