I was visiting the ATP website and had to do a double-take on a posted score for the qualies at the UNiCEF Open in the Netherlands...a guy named Miloslav Mecir lost in the final qualie round. I hadn't known the Big Cat's son was a tour player, so I'm asking myself, "Can this be true at age 47, making a comeback?". Fortunately, I came back to Earth, pulled the biofile and found out about Miloslav Jr. Has anyone seen the younger Mecir in action? Does he remind you in any way of his dad? Obviously, the game has changed since the 80's period of success for Mecir Sr., but he, of all the challengers to the then-elites, had a style that would translate easily to today's game...great, simple technique, fluid motion and uncanny ability to make the best look almost foolish.
