    And Bolelli and Fognini won the men's doubles.

    The results of pretty erratic or lowly ranked singles players showing up in doubles draws is starting to highlight just how an easy ride doubles specialists have had in the past decade.

    I've been catching up on the Australian Open doubles matches on replay. Just finished the women's and mixed finals. Honestly, I find these matches more fun to watch than many of the singles. Most of the doubles points are won on winners and very few unforced errors, also really impressed by Hingis' net play and return of serves.

    I could not help noticing that the stands are really empty for the doubles finals. That's a shame. Anyone know what the ticket prices were for the doubles finals compared to the singles?
