Maybe we're witnessing the maturity of Monfils. Letting out all his immaturity and clownishness on the court before finally getting his head and game in gear. How awesome that would be...

Not a lob. All the French players have to do that whenever Yannick Noah shows up at a tournament.

LMAO, great thread! Such a shame that Monfils doesn't use his talent to the fullest, he could be such a greater player

Tennis needs more flashy players. Monfils the only one we got. Dustin Brown comes second.

OTOH, "truth is stranger than fiction."
We'll never know which ones are real and which aren't. And the real ones may be funnier.

This thread should carry a note: no photoshopped pics in here.

This thread is hilarious. Someone should tweet him this thread. And yes his hair is tragic at the moment. He was spot on in US Open. I was beginning to crush.

Yes. YES! And on a break opportunity, too. A fantastic pic of tactical failure.

I don't mind the hair, but there are two clear problems with it.

First. it is a Do-It-Yourself job. Either that, or he got Tsonga or Gasquet to do it. 'Cause it is not done properly. It would look nice if it were.

Second, the headband does not go over the twists/braids/dreads. It goes over. Pics of Young James Blake demonstrate the look.
