Margaret Court of course. Even with the sometimes depleted fields nobody even comes close.

    you mean Singles: 1960-1966, 1969-1971, 1973
Doubles: 1961-1963, 1965, 1969-1971, 1973 is enough? Someone else can add the mixed doubles

umm prior to 68 i guess emerson...i mean he has 6 titles you can't really give it to anyone else. He did beat Laver there.

Open era...this is tough also as the Australian Open has not really been given much attention it is probably a toss up between Roger and Agassi.

In my time, Agassi. He won for 4 in 9 tries..amazing.

    Australian Open - since 1969

Actually the Australian Open started in 1969 - it was the only one of the majors not to go open in 1968. It waited until the following year.

    Wellpart of the problem

the aussie had suspect draws in the 70's,early 80's sothat clouds thing
and it changed surface 88 complicates it...but it dre vs fed for me.

pity safin notin discussion, the surface suits his game.

honorablementions to courier, lendl and edberg...wilander won onboth!

of course i better mention pete and boris but there were more vulnerable
on this survae...so andre for the mo.
