Awesome bowl week continued last night with both the Orange and Cotton games going down to the wire. Sammy Watkins is gonna make some NFL GM a genius this May!

My hope is the wild card NFL games today and Sunday have half the drama we've seen these last few days!

But I guess the Sugar Bowl pretty much put to rest how great Bama is? They've been whoopin' almost all of the SEC for 2 years and Big 12 OU put that fact in a different light. Even lowly Oklahoma State some great numbers on the board against Mizz.

Just got back from 10 days on the east coast and 4 at Disneyland. If the Atlanta airport, John Wayne airport in OC and Disneyland are any indication, Auburn fans will outnumber FSU fans 100-1 in the Rose Bowl tonight. :) No kiddng, ~ 1/3 of our flight from ATL to OC was Auburn fans and Disney was just packed with Tiger fans. I spotted a grand total of 2 FSU shirts...maybe Auburn fans love Disney more? :) Also saw a ton of Michigan State fans walking around Disney and congratulated them on the big win. Gotta hand it to the Big 10 this bowl season...they played the SEC teams tough (though UGA REALLY blew that game against Nebraska). Still, the death of the SEC has been greatly exaggerated by Bama's loss...7-2 so far (by far best of the big 4) with a chance to be 8-2 (and did I mention UGA REALLY, REALLY blew that game?!).

I was absolutely shocked by the Bama/Sooners game. Texas and Baylor blew OU's doors this season and both lost their respective bowl games. If you had to pick one of those three Big 12 teams to win their bowl game, no one would have gone with OU. Big Game Bob finally pulled one out.

Looking forward to tonight and hoping the Noles can bring one home for the ACC.

    FSU looking shell-shocked.

Auburn might turn this into a rout unless Winston gets something going.

Slow start for FSU and Auburn is clicking. FSU better keep it down to a 7-10 point lead max by halftime or it's trouble.

OMG FSU got a bunch of yards on that short throw. They still need to score a TD. Will they?

Wow, come on FSU! As a Longhorn fan, I'm rooting for them. Will we see J. Winston have a V. Young moment?

Congrats to FSU! Auburn put up a heck of a fight, but the 'Noles are indeed back among the elite.

Wow! Amazing game. I still think FSU should have won more easily, but whatever, I like it. :)

Most exciting game since Texas vs USC . Auburn put up a great fight and could of put in the bag. Congrats to the 'Noles. Can't for the playoffs next year lol.

Nice game. Auburn actually outgained the 'Noles on offense with Mason going for 195 and Marshall passing for just 20 fewer yards on 8 fewer attempts. No one would have predicted that. FSU can thank the 'immaculate hamstring pull' on that kickoff return for their BCS title :). That and two key mistakes...INT from Marshall and easy FG miss by Auburn. Otherwise, Auburn dominated close to three quarters. Tough loss for Auburn and Jimbo was out-coached but that's why you play the game.

Not the most well played football game, but it was plenty exciting.

Give the Heisman trophy winner credit. He got it done.

2 of the 3 SEC losses were really close. Just glad the right team got their arse's kicked :)

    We Are The Champions...Queen!

    Oops...wrong thread!

Incredible game! Watched every second of it and aged about 10 years from it but it ain't worth it if it comes too easily!

It took every ounce of effort and a steel set of cojones or two to make it work out. Fisher is a genius, Winston is a prodigy and when it counted they had enough believers on that squad to turn a possibly ugly loss into a cherished victory to remember every day each one of those men walk this planet.

I am damn proud to be a Seminole!!!!!!!

I bet you enjoyed Saban's ESPN commentary all week. :)

Mason was the stud of this game. FSU knew he was coming right up the gut and he still went for 195 yards. That dude is a beast.

Congrats, Stringer. I know the feeling and am sure you had a tight poop chute for about 3 hours...much tighter than you expected. :)

Thanks, KT! You're right and I'll send the bill to Malzahn and Ellis Johnson for the ExLax I'll need a day or two from now! They came up with some nice schemes to discomfort the Hei5man but he was nails when it counted. That, and the two Auburn DBs looked like the two Georgia DBs on the Miracle at Jordan-Hare play when Greene got loose on the short out route to put us in range. That destiny thing can be a real biotch sometimes.
