Anyone know what the "H" in jesus stands for when people say "Jesus H. Christ!"
I didn't know, but my best friend google.com did...
Came up with wikipedia's answer:
It's just another form of blaspheme and should not be said by decent individuals.
Good ol' Wikipedia...
I always thought the 'H' stood for 'Hayzooos'.
H could maybe be Hierosolymae, that means of Jerusalem, or it could Hierusalem, which means the same.
Deuce, I've been staring into your avatar for half an hour... I suddenly want to dance naked in the street and take over Europe....
I don't know. I think they must teach it at coaching school since the only persons I've heard use it are coaches. Just so you know, they didn't tell us at seminary.
Actually, I've never heard anyone say that. I try not to use the Lord's name is vain as it is...
Jesus, Jesus Christ....j/k
