Well McEnroe and Safin are the craziest in my opinion but I have chosen McEnroe because Safin has improved now.

Gilbert would be the crazy king though

Not to say crazy. It seem to me that Safin is the most stupid between, and it is why he is the craziest. I voted for Marat.

That's messed up. What was the fight about?
X-man's really got some problems, but my vote goes to gaudio-the King of insanity. He broke more rackets in one week then I've owned in a lifetime.

Early safin. Watched him break his racquet over his thigh like a baseball bat. Then in another match just started hitting is thighs with the racquet and caved it in. man that takes some determination!!!

How is Jimmy Connors getting off the hook without even a mention in this thread?

That said, I'm thinking Nastase. Maybe Pancho Gonzales? Nah, Nastase.

For current players, Irakli Labadze, whose nickname on the circuit is "Freakshow".
Is Labadze even a current player anymore, or is he back in Georgia living like a king?

Honorable (dishonorable) mention: Rios, Gaudio and the master of pout, Nicolas Kiefer.

BTW: Mac and Marat would be happy they were on the top of this list. If Blake were reading this, he'd probably feel embarrassed.

He just found out that the lineswoman was Nadalgirl26 and wanted her removed immediately.

It could have also been over an erroneous line call at a crucial time but my memory is a little cloudy...

Definitely Johnny - it took so little to bring out the crazy in him. I love watching him play, very entertaining for those who like to watch others blow their stacks.

They best racquet break i saw is when Gonzalez from Chilie was playing USA in Davis Cup and he broke his frame on the pole of the net. just killed that racquet just for that if he was on the list, he would have my vote

I used to think it was Safin but Gaudio's recent break down on the court convinced me that he is in McEnroe's league. Safin still has a slight advantage.... he did pull his pants down in Roland Garros.

Malisse was defaulted (at the Miami masters) because he allegedly cursed at a linesperson. He denies it to this day. Quite frankly, I think he had cause to be pissed.

After Johnny Mac tipped a television camera on the cameraman, find it hard to accept his behavior as just crazy. Just cannot recall the tournament. Now this guy is on CSI:NY!

    Jack Brasington or Vince Spadea?
I saw Brasington and someone else play Federer and I think Allegro. Good behavior all around. The Federer funhaus was in full glory.

Goran is deserving of a spot on this poll, but he is so beloved, maybe that is why people leave him off. Also because there were three of him and really only one of him was the bad Goran.

How about Goran holding his hand up as Rafter's serve is on the way? Goran and Safin are crazy in a lovable way. Nasty was just over the top, and McEnroe was plain rude.

How about Michael llodra...who hid naked in a locker and jumped out at Ljubicic...who just looked at him. Same guy who stripped down to his underwear (with Santoro) when they won the AO doubles title.

Let's face it, there are a lot of crazy, though not certifiable, guys on the tour.
