Actually, in his match against Ginepri the headsize looked much bigger, reminiscent of PJ ps 6.0 95 or n 6.1 95... but maybe that's just me.

Pete uses Bab strings. Before Bab started making sticks it was very common to see the two lines on pro's sticks.

It's probably the blur that makes the pattern seem more dense.

You're right, it is. But still, at the River Oaks Invitational, the head size looked so huge. Screw work now, I'm gonna go find some stills of his racquet then and confirm this for myself...

I understand that, but I was just stating that it looks a hell of a lot bigger than that to me.

No, I found those on the web. It's great if someone knows where we can find some update pics with him. You didn't take any pictures of him?

What do you mean? He has used Babolat strings before while on tour. I've seen old pictures of him with the Bab pj on his strings.

If i'm not mistaken, Sampras was one of the first to rock the double lines stencil...

I count only four cross strings at the PWS just like Federer's custom string pattern. That, along with the shorter handle pallet, confirms that he's using the exact same paintjob as Federer.

Sampras and many pros used Babolat strings throughout their careers. If I'm not mistaken, Babolat started making racquets not too long ago (late 90s?)
