What do you guys find to be an advantage of an 18x20 string pattern? Control? What else? Thanks!

Also, durability, especially for those of us who naturally hit with a lot of spin.

This PS Ltd is getting popular. Out of curiosity, is it garnering converts from Wilson/Head/Dunlop or is it mostly guys coming from another Babolat?

I'm in. I just switched to the Head Microgel Prestige MP.

First thing I noticed is that my strings move around much less and my serve has some serious kick.

Looking forward to read some good tips.

How unexpected of you to join! haha. Yeah one thing I noticed about switching to the rad is the amount of control I got with it, without losing spin. What strings do you use?

We really are starting to rack up some members, but as slappano said let's turn this tread into more than a sign up sheet, and start discussing what setups you found work for your stick.

really, for right now and this seems to working pretty good as "set-up" for my Dun.M.S.Weave 200G is : prince syn.gut original (gold). at 60 lbs. I guess the only drwn back is longevity (tenision-wise). 17gauge.

I hit pretty flat, and I find the dense pattern to help reign in the power and keep my shots deep, but without hitting them long.

First i used APD then i switch from 2HBH to 1HBH. So i wanna find something more suit & prefer. Since Anirut adviced me once "if you wanna play 1HBH, why don't you try mid size". it's so scaring to play mid size with dense pattern but it makes me hit flatter and no moon ball any more. I can make more piercing spin, more angle, more harder shot due to there low power pattern. Otherwise, it's last long your string life.
Only downside for me is its sound pretty MUTE, but i can solve by using BIG BANGER.:twisted::twisted:

When I can start playing again I plan to try a thin guage multi like NRG2. Anyone ever had experience with this string?

yes, in the old head prestige 17ga. at 57lbs. a little to soft for me, but my pal uses the head prestige strung at 60lbs. 17ga. and really likes it.

No, but I've tried wilson reaction 17g which too soft & pretty mute on low stiffness racquet. I think your MG rad which quite soft racquet. Recommend to try high quality syn gut hybrid with any BB(Alu rough, alu power, original rough). I can't control the ball with thin guage multi even though high tension.
