Worked for rosol.
haha true, but even against a small guy like Goffin he's not very effective
Wow, great point from goffin there, producing his own big hits and seing how verdasco likes it. Cmon goffin, break back!!
wow nice volley fiasco!~
First time ESPN has even showed a glimpse of Goffin vs Verdasco I think...Sigh.
Lol...Nice volley Verdasco
Nice volley put away by the fiasco.
Verdasco with the Andy Roddick volley.
Flopdasco at it again. GOAT volleys, this guy!
Bemelmans and Roger-Vasselin are battling! 8-8 in the 5th set.
Djokovic will have trouble this year around, it seems the court does play a little faster than last year
Verdasco takes the 4th set to take it 2-2.
Shame, Goffin had a few chances to get the break back there (especially after the hilarious volley) but we'll see how the 5th set goes.
I'm assuming, given your avatar, you are a Wisconsin Badgers fan. Do you by any chance follow their hockey team?
Bemelmans gets the break and will serve for the match up 9-8!
nice S&V there
Good win for Harrison.
Ahhh my feed died, whoever's pc was streaming this has had vlc player crash haha
And its back, phew. Cmon goffin!
Wow, Bemelmans blew his chance. He was two points away from the match, up 9-8.
Roger-Vasselin finally breaks in the final game and wins in the 5th set 11-9.
Verdasco is playing smart here in the 5th.
Verdasco showing off his GOAT forehand! Will The Fiasco actually be able to close out a match?
Harrison has got to be my most hated player on tour. I'm happy he advanced so I can watch him throw several tantrums while being humiliated by Djokovic.
Honestly, he looks like such an unhappy person. I'm not just talking about his tantrums on court; it's also evident by the way he talks to the ball boys and girls. For being such a loser on tour, he acts like such a big shot.
Ahh this is over, verdasco is barely having to move but he's moving Goffin back and forth and unleashing some brutal strokes when he needs to
Verdasco's forehand is such a good shot,, soooo brutally heavy.
Holy crap, how fast was that from verdasco?!
[Edit] they showed a slow motion replay of it and it was still too fast to be seen
I don't like him either. I especially don't like the fact that the ESPN talking heads usually ignore his antics. Show him on TV as much as you want! I'm still not going to like his attitude or his style of tennis.
I like Harrison. He has passion.
I'm a Harrison fan too, even though he hasn't yet learned how to channel that fire and passion into results instead of acting like an ass. Hopefully, he'll learn - it takes some longer than others.
Harrison hater here
Bemelmans is gonna have trouble sleeping for awhile after letting that one slip away.
Well held from verdasco there, Goffin had a chance to break back there, best chance he's had all set. Cmon goffin, make him serve it out.
Melzer cruised through to the 2nd round, defeating Mikhail Kukushkin 6-1 6-1 6-2.
holding like a boss
Ebden's putting up a good fight against Youzhny.
Well done verdasco, served out the match very solidly.
What match to watch now hmm...
Well, another overrated youngster goes down. Can't even beat Verdasco.
ooohh i was hoping to see more of Goffin, not an easy draw.
Ebden looks like he might go up 2 sets against Youzhny
Guess you bet wrong again?
Wow my stream switched onto watch the tiebreak between youzhny and ebden and i dont think iv seen a worse tie-break played.
No bet on the match for me. Just sick of these supposed great young players always losing. Nadal was winning majors at like 17 years old. These kids are a joke today.
he was down in the second set too
let's hope it isn't like the Nishikori match last year (I was there for that one, it was horrible)
Djokovic through to the 2nd round with a 6-2 6-4 7-5 win over Paul-Henri Mathieu.
Comfortable win as expected.
Haha, I remember I put a huge multi on and if Ebden won, I would have got like $200. Shut that match out as well.
Let's see what happens with Jerzy, Tomic and Raonic.
Not goffins fault and nobody expected him to do great here.
It begins
Looks like Youzhny is pulling himself together as he's serving to go up 4-0 in the 3rd.
