Johnson really did some nice work on his backhand. He used to slice everything

OK, I know you are wondering why did Steve miss those slice backhand returns on that 2nd serve from Almagro. but SPIN is something you can't really see on TV.
I have seen a lot of 2nd serves but that Almagro 2nd serve has some MAJOR insane spin. I can even see it on TV

Some mental mistakes from Johnson, he needs to be more aggressive, esp. when Amalgro charges the net. Blast it past him, forget the lob!

I really don't like this Voskoboeva lady. I saw her play Li Na at Indian Wells and she threw a temper tantrum at the ballgirls twice for not giving her balls fast enough. Now throwing her racquet vs. Venus... what a punk

    Roddick-like approach by Johnson.

Weird, since he hit a sublime volley the point before.

Johnson vs almagro is kind of like watching 4.5 guy play a 4.0 guy. 4.0 guy can kind of hang in there for a while but talented 4.5 guy just is better player

Why do they always play the dumbest matches during the 4 grand slams.

They do this every time, either a female match or a male match that is boring.

It sucks for people like me who don't have a live stream.

The time they show the Almagro match on ESPN it's going to be over?

And then when the boring match is over they decide to highlight the boring match and talk about it for 15 min as if the other matches aren't going on.

Johnson needs a better backhand; too many short balls from that wing. He's hanging in there well enough overall though, can he keep it together mentally?

Geez and he came into the tournament playing so well. Just baffling stuff here. I know Benny is tough, but I expected Dimi to pull through.

I just wish I could see it. What court is he on?

Just tuned into Nishikori making a 2nd set comeback (domination) against Hanescu.
