Anyone else hearing birdsong in the Johnson match or have I been awake for that long?

Please tell me. I'm so tired I can't even discern reality for a stream.

This 100% only 2 matches were shown, but it felt like 20

Expected Almagro to make it difficult for himself btw.

I say it could go 5 if he really messes around

Johnson with the second! Contemplating whether I should go to sleep now or wait 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Stosur STILL can't play in Australia.

If Johnson could hit a backhand he would be top 20 material.

Don't kid yourself, him being top 20 would be a bigger fluke then DONALD bieng 35 last year. Even if he got a better backhand.

Nishikori wins a set against Hanescu. 1 all.

Hanescu has a nice one-handed backhand return, but I think Nishikori will win the match.

Johnson's got game. I could see him being a fixture in the top 20. He's no future slam winner, but he'll have some success.

I'm unaware of what you mean a fixture in the top 20.

    Stosur looking swole.

Pretty sure the lil bit of the Almagro match they showed on ESPN is all there going to show.

It's weird to see Goffin. He's the size of around 4 fleas stacked on top of eachother but he hits the ball like an absolute monster!

LOL Stosur looks fresh off another steroid cycle in the offseason. Geez, you don't see guns like those outside of female bodybuilding comps.

Grigor is on his way out, but on the plus side, that means more victory sex for Sharapova.

    Your problaly right.

I'm just a hater of the new generation and the lack of any talent or decent genetics.

I'm waiting for a genetic beast or someone's who's really talented.

I'm tired of seeing the same terrible physique big forehand 2 handed backhanded players

Big doesn't equal muscle I will admit he is big boned and solid but nothing special.

Lol at the commentators always being biased with American players.

As soon as they start loosing there is a injury or something. (Johnson's neck)

Thames Valley Cockerspaniels is in the doubles draw. Could be interesting to see what he can do after that match against Verdasco at Hopman. He could be a player for the future!

The match wasn't televised. Benneteau won in straights. Dimitrov disappoints TT, his parents and everyone else in the world.

This is why I dislike commentators and Cameroom of ESPN.

They don't know what matches to show.

    Now I'm missing verdasco FML.

I think a lot of people on here must have hyped him up by the looks of it. Maybe because he got to the final in Brisbane and made it a little close against Murray. I don't even think he was the favourite for the match. The other guy is rated higher.

well it kinda makes sense. if benneteau has game enough to challenge fed it stands to reason it'd be game enough to lay waste to the pale imitation.
