Worst match Berdych ever played. A complete waste of time.

Why is it less super? Don't they play both semi finals, just like always?

With the re-scheduling of the men's final to Monday, there is now a day's rest in between the semis and the final. In the past, the semis were held on Saturday followed by the final on Sunday so Super Saturday is not quite as 'super' as it used to be.

Super Saturday is still the same. It's the Sunday that is different.

    Tournament Summary, Analysis, and Conclusions

With Nadal skipping, there was a large asterisk hanging above Queens from the start this year. On the positive side, Nadal skipping left the title wide open and produced some fierce competition amongst the field. Although Federer and Djokovic draws were padded straight into semis, we all had a feeling of brand new finalists from the start.

The biggest disappointments were Berankis and Donskoy crashing out early, as well as Gulbis letting his young associate play on. Murray was hot one day and cold the next day – stopped Kuznetsov run to the final and then couldn’t handle Djokovic!

Nishikori is, of course, the big story. We all expected him to start making slam inroads soon, but not with a severe foot injury when he reluctantly accepted playing at all! Congratulations to Nishikori on beating Raonic, Wawrinka, and Djokovic while limping on one foot!

I look forward to the quietude of this great forum in the post-season and more great discussion when big tennis is back at the Australian Open 2015! Happy holidays everyone!

You're not sticking around to discuss Christmas exhibitions in London? I know Mike Bulgakov will always have interesting things to say about the catering and such.

Oh, absolutely – there is nothing like the quiet post-season on GPPD.

Even before the Christmas exhibitions and cooking shows, I plan to be very active creating Jung match threads as he makes his way through the heart of the mainland and heck, we could even have one for the Arrubarrena - Abduraimova (WTA Tashkent) match starting in a couple of hours!

Tick refers to those little parasites that suck blood from dogs, cows, etc.. :D
