The perfect 1 hour practice

Due to Winter every time I play my sessions are restricted to one hour. What is the best way to get the most out of an hour for the entire game (Volley, serve, return of serve, groudstrokes etc.) Previously all I have done is go crazy with groundstrokes and a serve every now and then.

Would love to hear what other people do to get the most out of their practice sessions. So I can make my own based on peoples experience.

I hope there is a way for both players gettin a good practice not just one guy feeding. ie.
5 min warm up
5 min- volley
10 min- serve

Would appreciate the time frames also.

Thanks in Advance

Before courtime, fully warm up....legs, shoulders, body, arms, hands....
Your schedule is fine, just practice serve return when other guy serves.
Add 6 minutes overhead practice.
Practice your weakest strokes some.
In ONE hour, you are getting about 1/4th of your needed practice time at your level.

It depends on what you specifically want to hammer out in that hour. I think that if you have a dedicated hitting partner, the two of you can plan a few things to really dig into for each session. Aside from drilling specific shots, I like to insert occasional tiebreakers into my hitting sessions to "flip the switch" in my head and put my tools to work in a competitive setting.

If I come up with a good routine, I'll post that later, but if I were in your situation, I'd be changing my schedule for each session depending on what my partner and I decided to drill. One thing to consider so that you can maximize your hour on the court is to make sure that you're hydrated and fueled up before you start. That way, you ought to need only one or two water breaks at the most. The other thing along that line to try is getting your motor running before you get on the court. It may mean bringing an extra set of shoes to wear for a short jog outside so that you're more warmed up at the outset of your court time.
