It's being mooted quite strongly that the old girl will make her second visit in a couple of years to SW19. I would like to see her there - it would make the occasion even more special.

The Queen is coming? I thought he has been fishing in Mallorca after the Rosol match:)

Ahhh ha ha ha, that was funny!

On topic, for Murray this could be like when you are about to serve for a match and your partner tells you "is match point ... but no pressure!"

If the queen shows up, it would prove that she's a Fed fan.

She'd just make a pressure-packed situation even worse for Murray, if she was there in person :)

It seems Fed gets more fired up when dignitaries show up. This will be added pressure for Murray, I agree.

Either way, it will be an emotional final, whoever wins:)

BBC reporting that Her Maj won't be there tomorrow - although Kate will be there apparently.

Who cares if the "Queen" will be there.

Frankly, I wouldn't. I don't want any added pressure placed on Murray's shoulders. She came last year and has done her 30 odd years duty. She's not interested in tennis. Leave her be.

Somebody of Murray's age, with more than a passing interest in the game like Wills and Kate, would be more appropriate IMO.

That's too bad. because after Andy wins, i was hoping she could just have the knighting ceremony right after.

Would be amazing for tennis history if Murray wins in front of the Queen :)

Not sure if her presence will help his nerves though ;)

Probably for the best. If Murray wins and climbs up to the Royal Box, she might think it was a Jacobite Rebellion.

How about Pippa Middleton, has she been attending? I saw her at Nadal's round 2 match, but not since (but I suspect she was at a Murray match too).

I hope the queen is there. Murray might **** his pants before the first serve.

No pressure Murrs, only the Queen and the rest of her glory England is watching you with baited breath.

On the other hand, she might relish being kissed and fondled by a rough, hairy young Scotsman! After all, Queen Victoria had her John Brown! :)

The Queen is not a great fan of tennis from what I hear and I doubt Murray will give a rat's a*** about her or anyone other than Federer.

    Those are vile Tory rags.

Only Murray can win this match tomorrow. He has to relish the opportunity of playing Federer in a Wimbledon final, and seize the chance of winning the trophy. Winning a major is what he wants, so like I said, he must relish the upcoming match, not fear it.

I hope not. It would be real tokenism on her part, as she doesn't appear to be a tennis fan. On the other hand, it would be entertaining to see Andy leap into the Royal Box post-victory and give Her Majesty some tongue.

Nonsense. That's her Royal Femme cap, encrusted in diamonds (which several South African children perished to harvest in the unforgiving depths of the mine.)

I hope for her it won't be a 5 set match. She hates sports. Almost as much as music. She already had to endure that Jubilee concert last month.
