the serve is the weakest part of my game. i recently have been wokring with a friend who suggests i should "go after the ball". especially on those slices out wide to the forehand in the duece court. this serve has opened up the service box and the court for me. "going after the ball" has helped me keep my eyes on the ball through impact. it has helped me go up into the ball and kept me from pulling my head or shoulders down prematurely. It has increased the amount of spin i can get on the serve a well. Before, i'd just sort of swing through the ball and i'd have a tendency to pull myshoulder down and look at where i'm hitting it- which led to a lot of balls in the net. This concept has helped me and i hope someone else understands what i'm saying and can use it as well.
