    Relax folks, ...
I was wondering what strange sensation was suddenly enveloping me. The sky literally fell; well I guess it all makes sense now...

Woah....I though you were talking about Wood Racquets being reinstated and SV being the dominant play.

Winning Monte Carlo 8 years in a row will live in the history books.

As some minor factoid or annex. People barely care about this stuff now, so they certainly won't in 10-20 years.

    Spoilers, no?

Be considerate to people who weren't able to catch the match live. There is a whole sub-forum for you to discuss the result.

Streak has to end inevitably. Fed snapped Nadal's 81 matches winning streak and now Nole snapped his 8 straight MC.

Relax historian, it's too early for you to start crapping your pants at the prospect of Novak winning CYGS.

The disruption of the natural order has occurred.

The Son of God has slain the the God of Clay.

    We shall see supernatural occurrences.

Like Sampras coming back from retirement to win Wimbledon.

Let's be fair, there are plenty of Fred's stats that this one beats.

Nadal was being humble today. He does not want to win all clay court events.

That's reminds me of Sampras fans use to pray Fed can't break his slam record.

WTF happened to Ralph? Especially in that first set, I mean Djoker looked God-like but then Ralph slowly brought him down to earth. Just couldn't bury him.

Nadal fought hard, hit some nuclear forehands. But on the clay surface of Monte Carlo, it didn't bother Djokovic much today.

TODAY ???? Nadal is always humble !!!

Ralph is giving Noel a false sense of confidence, letting him win the lesser events. Ralph will impale him in the slams :)

Sure Sure, the only thing that matters is who wins at Wimbledon. Everything else is irrelevant, right? And I am sure that after Fed loses at Wimby in a few months, tennis will cease to matter...

Djoker 2.0 happened! It was 2011 all over again except this time it was happening at his favourite tournament where he had ruled unchallenged for almost a decade!

Rafa never did learn how to handle Djoker when in 2011 mood. He can only hope he will come back down to 2012 levels in time for RG. But that may be a vain hope. Djoker is on a mission!

Well, Bawss is kind of right. Nadal's 8 straight MC titles are a ridiculous feat, but MC is not a GS so to the casual fan (which there are a lot more of than hardcores like us) it won't be that big a deal. At the end of the day GS will take priority. For example I think Nadal's 4 straight RG titles (and 7 overall), and a potential 2nd streak of 4 in a row this year, are greater than his MC accomplishment.

Epic beatdown. Wasn't nearly as close as the scoreline.

Barring an injury to ND or Federer or someone else beat him, Nadal is done. Long live the new King of Clay.

Nadal only had 4 in a row at FO. Fed had 5 in a row at W and USO.

And the gate is crashing down there too. Novak is the new King of Clay.

Instead of Skyfall, we'll rename it "Let this guy fall" with videos of Hafa slipping and falling on clay.

Yeah, no. He needs to back this up with a victory at RG in order to deserve that title.

There is still a lot of CC tennis left to be played.

Well, he's already been beaten in RG, Hamburg, Madrid and Rome. It was only a matter of time until he would lose one at M-C. (I think after 8 titles, one should be allowed to take a breather ;))
