We are men (and women), and we sweat! That's why we use the manly light blue Tournagrip. Nothing absorbs our sweat better.

This is THE official Tournagrip club on these boards--join and show your support for the grip you love. Oh, and Tournagrip II users are also welcome!

Yeah it's blue and never thought of it as being femmy.
True that it absorbs sweat the best, however I live in Hawaii in pretty humid conditions and think the new Tourna grip II is better (thinner, longer lasting, absorbs well).
Have you guys tried the new stuff?

i like original tourna in the summer, there's really nothing that comes close to it. I just stick with Tourna in the winter but use Tourna 2 since its tackier. The tack seems to last a little longer for me than the wilson pro, and I hate white so its an easy choice.

I like the stuff, but I've realized I don't sweat enough to warrant it. The stuff feels horrible unless you've built up a good sweat.

Wow, to be completely honest, I actually tried Tournagip II today, just for fun, and loved it. It has no sacrifice on absorbency from Tournagrip, and has just the right amount of tack---more than Tournagrip, but not too much so that it is too hard to change grips.

From now on, Tournagrip IIers, feel welcome.

That's what I originally thought, but Unique marketed it as light blue.

Count me in! I have never tried Tournagrip II though since they don't sell it at Sports Chalet. I might order some from TW soon to try them out after my Tournagrip I runs out.

Tourna is nothing like any Bab grips. Babalot makes awful grips imported straight from China with no research involved. They probably put melamine in them for some reason as well.

I actually stopped using tournagrip because I sweat too much and the racquet was flying out of my hand. Wilson pro seems better for this. Go figure.

I would actually have to say that Tourna II is far superior in both categories. Wilson Pro just feels slimy compared to Tourna II.

Wilson Pro feels totally different from the Tournagrip II. Wilson Pro has a sandy grip feeling while the Tournagrip II has a tacky grip feeling.

Agreed, and well put. Wilson Pro wasn't exceptionally tacky or sweat-absorbing, it did both with mediocrity.
