VAMOS!!! :-D :-D
The door is slam shut, the pressure's gone.
Nadal is #1, and that's the way it's gonna stay.
Oh I hope so! He has looked so nervous during his last few matches. I hope he can relax and feel the flow and play the marvelous amazing tennis we all know he can.
I know the pressure's gone from me!!!!! Lordie I was so nervous during that match today but let out a huge WOOHOOOOOOOO when he won. Rafa Nadal. World #1 for the third time. That sure sounds good eh.
#TeamRafa!!!!! World #1!!!!!!!
Lol haters can't even bring us down at this point. It's been the year of Nadal and Williams
Rafa has been tense, i have been tense. Now i can breathe properly again. So good!
What a year!!
Congrats to Rafa and all his fans. Not quite satisfied enough yet until he wins YEC. But I think he will find his top form now that the pressure is gone.
Hahaha, that's why TMF sounds so cranky these days........
If Nadal wins WTF that's the icing on the delicious 10 titles 5 masters back to #1 2 slams cake! Can he do it? I really hope so.
Would be pretty cool if he beat Djoker in the final doing it.
Are you guys offering free cookies? If yes can I join the party?
You can only join this party if you say that Rafael Nadal is a better tennis player than Roger Federer, and that Roger Federer is no GOAT because he cries like a girl against Rafael Nadal. The whole truth and nothing but the truth...........
I'm making brownies
So Happy! Congratulations!!
Well-done Nadal! You were right this time MichaelNadal, I give you props for that. Good for Novak fans to stay classy like their champion.
I'm so relieved that Rafa won. Phew.
9 French Opens is unbelievable.
I know buddy, so proud of Rafa today, it's been a tough year for us all things considered till the FO. Happy to be his fan
You're a good fan man, Djokovic is clearly the successor to the clay throne.
Time to do the Happy dance mates '! ! Cheers.
King of TerreBattue!!
Even though it might not seem like it, I respect Rafa and want him to win against anyone else other than Murray, Federer, or Djokovic. Congrats once again!
Congratulations to Nadal. After we were all done playing tennis today (on clay), we watched the end in the clubhouse. I knew that double fault was coming.
King of clay? Emperor? God? I don't know.
It's another sunny day in Majorca.
I could go for pizza, wings, and beer right now
And this will be the last year that Queens and Halle start the day after the French Open finishes. It will be strange next year when there's a week off in between.
Congrats to Djokovic for a good tournament. I still maintain that he WILL win a French Open before he retires. Zero doubt.
Its time to celebrate
congratz Rafa's fan! Your dude is unbelievable! 9 RG!! Now, that's something..
the odd makers cannot believe it. Djokovic was the favorite
That about sums up my feeling as well. When he bent over to stretch his back out, then played so poorly I did despair. Then after the commercial break he was back at it, without a trainer being called I felt like maybe he would get his momentum back and he did. Congrats to Rafa on number nine.
Also congrats to Djokovic who played his heart out, regardless on how well he felt.
He'll get ten next year! It's just bound to happen that he becomes the first player to win a slam 10 times. He's a freakin' trailblazer!
I think I'm might get tickets to the next final.
Amazing stuff from Rafa. I really thought Djokovic was primed to finish the job this time, but once again, Rafa upped his game on the biggest stage.
Rafa GOAT. Full stop.
YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!
This will make my day for sure. Just knowing the haters (F1Bob, Chico) have to shut their traps and suck it is a beautiful thing. Yes Novak, you can have Shanghai, Beijing, WTF, Miami and Rome. I will take the slams from you. 14-6. Novak needs a touchdown AND a 2 point conversion at 27 yrs of age. He's probably got 2-3 more in him realistically.
We did it!!!!
Whoop whoop! :-D
Wow! Amazing. So pleased for him.
Next year he goes for La Decima just like Real Madrid this year.
Accomplishing La Decima (the tenth) should entail the change of the name from Roland Garros to Rafa Nadal Open
All the same ... I would rather "do the Rafa" and "celebrate for today".
9 is a mighty big number.
Time to move on to Wimby. Let's hope he doesn't flop like he did the last 2 years.
Not yet. Time to celebrate.
WB will have to wait 2 weeks. Rafa has just made HISTORY
And my day, week, and month
