Borrowing my famous Austrian uncle's phrase, "I'll be back!"

What you saw of me vs Murray is just a taste of my tasty cuisine. I will make Wiener schnitzel of the entire tour before I'm done!

I swear Tom just spends all day thinking of great thread titles! Another good one!

I'll happily jump on the Thiem hype train! Let's hope he can confirm his talent soon enough.

"I'll be back" could be a catchphrase describing my feeble attempts to mimic my previous experience as a newspaper writer. Headlines were the most fun!

Guess who he plays first round? Another qualifier, the young American Daniel Kosakowski out of UCLA! I see you've already created a thread on him. Hopefully he plays well, should be a cool match. I've never seen Daniel play, hopefully he brings his A game.

Looking forward to it! Goffin bounced me in Acapulco, now trounced by this Daniel K. Must pump some iron to be ready, eat many raw eggs! Room service!

    Nice one Thiem.

Does anyone know which part of the main draw he is in? Winnable matches, or is he facing Djokovic right off the bat...?

Plays Rosol, and with a win, Robredo, both winnable.

"My Uncle Ahnold likes Miami...recommends many places from his fun times offset when filming "True Lies" with the lovely Jamie Lee Curtis! I will Thiem-inate a few foes and move on to Europe to tour a few cities closer to home!"

Though I've only seen two of his matches, I'm kind of impressed with Thiem's backhand return. Seems like he's able to get most everything back.

I like his Forehand - its not BIG but super crafty, which is imo better!!!

Backhand sucked yesterday against Rosols big shots, lots of rally balls went long, needs to tweak it. Touch shots were good.

His 1st serve still needs alot of work.

    Big tennis future in him.

Got a WC into Monte Carlo, will play the Frenchman Nicolas Mahut in the first round tomorrow. I hope he does well and can get the win.

    Love the AUT hair etching!

Thanks for reviving my thread! I gave it up bcoz it was started hours after @Rozroz got his "Next top 10" thread on the board.
