Chelsea's home shirt isn't that great, true.

The away and 3rd ones are quite nice though.

They're basically the same thing! One is blue and yellow, while one is blue and grey! Same template, everything.

Adidas is too lazy these days...

Sorry dude, I don't read Catalan garbage. Yo hablo castellano puro. Here's something the Catalans don't speak.

    9 CL trophies.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Benzema,

When I started to play football I had a lot of dreams. The first was to become a professional footballer. The second to play for the French team. The third was to wear the Real Madrid shirt.
"I am both sad and happy. Happy to join the greatest club in the world, and sad to leave my club, my friends, and all the education staff. I own everything to Lyon.
"Indeed, I could have joined Manchester United, Barcelona, Inter****onale or AC Milan, but Real are unique. Everyone is dreaming to play at Real.
"I really wanted to stay at Lyon until the next World Cup. The opportunity to play with stars like Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and so many great players, made me change my mind."

Real are a kid's dream. Florentino Perez came to my house at Bron. That was important," he continued. "He can speak French and I understood he absolutely wanted me. I could only have left for Real. It was my dream, that's all.
"I am eager to be at the training-sessions, wear that shirt, and play the first league match. I know I will join a new world.
"Why shouldn't I play each match? I want to make a name for myself as quickly as possible."

Wise kid that Benzema. He knows nobody touches Madrid.

Morrissey, your boys in La Casa Blanca are at it again. AS, Marca and Gazette dello Sport all are reporting that Real Madrid are hammering out the final details to sign.........AS Roma midfielder Danelie De Rossi

 I'm shocked, I had no idea Madrid could pull this off! Something tells me he won't be the last of their signings, either! Los Blancos are pulling a new rabbit out of the hat each week! Who do they go for next?

In other news, Bild (a German sports website) claim that Stuttgart have signed KJ Huntelaar as a replacement for Mario Gomez. Personally, I don't think that's true, as Bild aren't exactly known for reporting the truth, but that's still an interesting move if it goes through. KJ could light up the Bundesliga if he gets the chance. I, however, still want to see him and Benzema line up alongside eachother this season, as they could be the best striking partnership in the world if everything works out.

Yeah I wouldn't of thought Huntelaar would go to Germany.

He looks to be attractive to Man Utd and Arsenal so you'd think he'd be looking towards one of those if he is to leave.

I can believe De Rossi would go to Madrid, they seem to be cooling on Alonso as Liverpool are demanding something like £35 Million so he would be a good alternative in the middle.

Madrid have also said they aren't willing to meet Bayern's valuation of Ribery, so i'm guessing he will probably stay in Germany for another year.

    You mean this?

Florentino is no sucker. Liverpool wants to screw with him because they know we want Xabi, but we always have a plan B. "What Llorente? No pass on Villa?" "Hey Aulas, we would like to go after Karim instead, let me ask him and he wants it he'll get it." As for Huntellar and Benzema, I dunno. I think my mouth waters more as the thought of seeing Benzema with Higuain. But I like De Rossi in the midfield A LOT! Now don't you wish your team had God Florentino?

Florentino is always thinking. He saw Bayern want 80 mil euros for Ribery and Liverpool want 47 mil euros for Alonso. Flo man isn't gonna sit back and play the waiting game. Because Llorente was hell bent on not selling Villa we got Benz anyway and for cheaper than Villa money. Plus he's 6 years younger too. That was my favorite signing so far, the Ronaldo one was inevitable since last year or maybe earlier.

Yeah, I don't think Ribery is someone Madrid particularly need anymore. They now have Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema which is more than enough firepower, they also need to realise they have some great players already that they might be taking for granted. Robben is injured alot but when he's fit, there's not much between him and Ribery so why fork out 80 Million Euros?

And having the two Diarra's is great too. They both know Benzema really well and they will help in the back midfield and the gelling process with Benz.

    Free Eric Frimpong!

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=4300383

Eric Frimpong is a soccer star in the MLS who was convicted of sexual assault. The problem is, the victim had a blood alcohol level of DON'T SERVE ME ANYMORE (nearly lethal levels,) didn't have any of Eric's semen on her body, the bites on her body didn't match up with Eric's. Basically, she's bs-ing everything. In fact, she has an ex-boyfriend whose DNA and bite marks matched up with that guy. What was Eric's verdict?

Guilty. This was a verdict found by a jury of all white peers and a white judge.

RIght now there's very little publicity for him except that his UC Santa Barbara fans and classmates are fighting for him.

Please digg this story and spread the word that Eric must be freed.

Rather surprising that Milan or ManU didn't go after him. I guess KB will wear 19. Unless they find a way to get rid of Sneijder or Robben before.

Haha you're probably right! I was being a bit unfair in saying Owen and Johnson are the only real signings, Zhirkov is a big one, Valencia is also fairly big.

I'm looking forward to see how Sturridge does yeah, he says he has hopes of going to the World Cup next year and you'd think there is an outside chance. England's problem is that we don't have a Drogba to play with Rooney, we try Heskey and Crouch but they aren't really good enough on the big stage. Sturridge has the talent and could learn an awful lot from Drogba which might make him a decent bet, he'd be a better pick than Walcott was last time anyway!

Don't think Studge will get a look in at World Cup tbh. For me he's better than Heskey and Crouch (even if far less likeable) but won't get enough playing time at Chelsea or even the U21's to influence Capello.

Defoe, Agbonlahor (ugghh..shouldn't be anywhere near the national squad), Heskey, Crouch, and obviously Rooney all will have priority over him. If he really wanted to try to get to World Cup he should have done what Joe did and go to a club where he'll get constant starts and get exposure, now he'll be constantly behind Anelka and Drogba and have a similar role he had for us last season in coming out a few times a season for the occasional spectacular but being on the bench for the most part.

Also his attitude is **** poor and that will be another factor that might keep him from the squad next year.

It'll be interesting if the likes of Onuoha and Hart (possibly number 1 next year??) get the call due to being out there every week whilst Danny gets left behind.

I think he'll get his chance at Chelsea this year, Ancelotti will probably change the formation a bit with the possibility of 2 strikers playing. Sturridge will start off on the side lines for sure, but I think he can make an impact in the Carling Cup (which he should do, whenever he got a chance at City he always looked liked a handful, I remember around New Year where he came on and turned the game round against Blackburn in the short time he was on).

I think England will take 4 strikers with Rooney and Heskey being 2, the other positions are up for grabs though. Carlton Cole is a good option, Dean Ashton is even better (if he stays fit). Sturridge feels he has an outside chance of making it and I hope he does! If he's even in the discussion when the squad is announced then he will of had a great first season at Chelsea and I think he has it in him.

Alot has been made of Sturridge's poor attitute but he's talked alot since he made the move and everything he's said has been spot on. Manchester City could have Robinho, Santa Cruz, Bellamy, Caicedo, Tevez and maybe Eto'o so maybe a move to an established team where he might actually get more time playing is a good move for him.

I'm a big Joe Hart fan, he was absolutely fantastic in the under 21's this summer. His penalty heroics in the semi was something we've not seen from an English keeper for a long time, he'll probably ship quite alot of goals playing for Birmingham which will go against him but Foster and Hart are great ones for the future. Onuoha is talented and had a good summer in Sweden also, the problem he faces is the people he has infront of him! England have a big pool of centre backs like Terry, Ferdinand, Upson, Lescott, Jagielka etc.. etc.. but as you say, he'll be playing alot of games this season and if City do break into the top 4 he'll get alot of attention.

Yeah the Blackburn comeback was incredible on his part, one of the most memorable moments of the season for us I think. If he gets chances he will certainly make an impact, I'm sure of that.

Another factor for the selection is how Owen does at United..unfortunately if he even does somewhat decent there he'll probably take one of the spots as well which would leave Cole or Defoe to take the last spot I think.

Hart is just awesome, and his penalty antics are hilarious as well "I'm gonna ****ing have you! Come on come on down the middle!" and so on. He's already a great keeper and the experience at Birmingham should be good especially if he can have any sort of impact in helping them stay up. For me he's already the best England keeper there is..I'd certainly pick him over James, Carson, and Green.

You're probably right about Onuoha too many good centre backs for England he'll have to wait until 2014 since Richards will probably be taking one of the right back spots which is slightly less competitve.

He is tbf, you could of got £30 Million for him last year though! :)

What do you think of what Wenger's been doing? I find it odd that he payed something like £12 Million for a defender that isn't guarenteed a starting place when he could of payed a bit more and got Melo, one of the best midfielders in the world at the moment.

Can you imagine Fabregas and Melo next to each other? That's inceredibly strong.
