:lol::lol::lol:also they search for 12 different bandanas... i mean, for players with long hair bandana is ok but not 15-colour bandana

The '****s are still punching their timeclock. Meanwhile, Del Potro can take #8 in the race if he wins the Japan Open for his 5th title this year and will enter the top 10 regardless. Jankovic is on the verge of winning her 3rd title this year (and walking into #1 again).

Here's to the 'underdogs'

or maybe

"not enough light"
"i have blisters"
"i need rest"
"i have mono"
"im tired"

LOL, excellent variations there:) I am many people have an absolute favorite. That's fine, but I just can't get myself to support any one player in particular.

Who cares if Nadal scratches his butt, and what's up with Federer's hair stroking anyway...very girly-like IMO. See? It's easy to slam any player. Each one has his/her own "thing/s", and that is what makes them unique. I honestly couldn't give two hoots what they do/don't do on court, whether they bite or kiss their trophies, and what style clothes they wear.

Here's to the 'underdogs' (read any player who is not #1 or #2) to cause some major upsets. Just to keep things interesting and in perspective. :)

I like nadal, and usualy dont care about their little habits.. but this one Nadal has I find unpleasant because of the location. Also is roddicks frequent adjusting the front. There is no comparison to adjusting the hair, adjusting the hair is not unpleasant and is the most common among every other regular person as well as athletes. That's because he was never asked about it in his interviews, it's just normal. VS Nadal who has been asked about it by the reporters.

I dont see anything odd with biting the trophy.

Fed's "timeout" will probably keep those set of '****s in line. *******s should be in line too with his resting up for Madrid.

I say this as there's only 1 Federer or Nadal-related thread on the New Posts. :)

I got two choices for making the vid. I could try to humble both sets of '****s in one video. Or make two vids, one each for *******s and *******s.

If I do the two vids thing, that's going to take some extra time, but at least I can get more players in it. If I do the two vids things, I'm making the one against those *******s first as I have a few scores to settle with that camp.

In any event, I'm going to get highlights from matches within the past two years. ****s are going to get some mud pie!

I already got one '****s feathers all ruffled. He made four comments on that vid while calling me an idiot (though he misspelled my handle) and a "looser".

62 views in its first half day isn't bad. :)

Federer is a god. If you don't think he's the most gracious, classy, amazing, and -insert every good adj. ever made here- than you don't know anything!!! Without Federer, tennis would be nothing. How can you not worship everything that has to do with Roger?

Nadal is a butthole, duh.

I'm just kidding, but really. I love Federer as much as the next person, but I think I'm pretty level-headed when it comes to his game. As well as Nadal's. I guess it can be easy to get caught up in supporting someone (especially if you've been a fan since the beg. of their career) but I don't really think that many people are over the top. It's all in good fun! : )

yes,but in how many finals in the past 2 years, has one of them be?In most. And only of this year, one of them has been in 3 of the 4 slams, which are the most discussed tournaments in this forum.

If there were 10 or 15 slams, i.e. tournaments that were considered as big a deal as slams are currently, then it would be harder for one or two players to dominate the public mind (as nadal and federer have done in the last few years) because it would be more difficult to peak for each slam.

by the way, excuse the signature

He was adjusting to the extreme today. It was so distracting.

The guy who bad-mouthed my vid can go vent on his inflatable Mirka doll. All six guys on that vid are in the final 16 at the AO. Too bad Simon and Monfils have to face each other (I'm picking Simon), but it wouldn't surprise me to see 5 of them in the final 8.

Djokovic has a relatively easy path to the semifinals.

Simon/Monfils winner could cause Nadal problems as I just don't see Gonzo doing much.

Murray and Tsonga could collide in the QF. Then again, Verdasco destroyed Stepanek.

Berdych isn't likely to harm Federer, but Del Potro could assuming both make the QF.

^^^You know what they say about Karma. Now go back to back to your fantasy of replacing Federer as Nadal's lapdog. Or maybe you envy Roddick as being Federer's toy.

Second: I wonder if another member were to write an articulate, reasonable, non-insulting, non-flamable post in this thread would it distract and frustrate, the readers here?

Third: To TW/TT, Can we lock them in?

Until we have another player that consistently can win some major and create some epic drama, the tennis world will concentrate on Fed-Nadal.

I like to see Gasquet step it up !!!

I think the following are more likely to do damage than Gasquet:
Simon
Tsonga
Monfils
Djokovic
Murray
Del Potro (needs a favorable draw)
Querrey
Gulbis

Everytime I watch Gasquet I just don't see slam material in him. He's got the backhand and other elements he good to solid, but nothing else that separates him from the pack. Motivation (or lack of) is another area of concern. If he gets out of rhythm he's toast. There's good reason why France hasn't had a Men's slam winner in 25 years.

Gasquest has all the ammunition to be a Slam champ, but he may not have the HEART to do so,
Verdasco on the other hand, may step it up and win FO, it's a crazy task, but Nadal can't always win, one day someone will stop him, maybe Verdasco? or it's too late for Verdasco now?

I guess you forgot to watch Verdasco last night...

Verdasco would have been considered if he didn't underachieve for so long. 25 and only two titles to show for it. I consider this a likely fluke run, but if he goes deep at another major or wins a master's I'll consider him a potential contender.

and the Samprastards which are just as bad or worse, and the Agassitards, and even now the ************* at times. We need some more Hewitttards for a change. :)

Petetards only come along when GOAT threads take place and right after the words Federer and GOAT appear in the same sentence. Otherwise, they're mainly closet *******s. Just don't dare say Federer has played tougher competition to such a fan. HAHA

AAtards aren't as bad. They know Agassi is a GOAT that should have been even more of one, but it was Agassi's own undoing. He was one of my idols so I don't have any real issues with most of his fans.

There isn't that much of a Novak following here. You either love or hate him with little in-between. Given his latest capitulation those ****s are going to be eating humble pie until Indian Wells.

That's absolutely reasonable. On the other hand, what have some of the guys in that list done so far? As far as the age goes, I wouldn't worry too much. Gil Reyes will give Dasco the same pills that he was giving Agassi.

For your sake I hope you're right. Verdasco has a monster forehand and packs a punch on his serve. I'm not that impressed with his backhand, but he's got good footwork for those inside-out forehands. He looked composed and focused throughout the tournament, so that's promising. We'll soon find out how he fares being in the spotlight at the Master's events.

He did have a lot of backhand winners last night.

Enjoyed the video, nice music transition between the "evil empire" of Fed and Nadal and the guys who have the potential to spoil the party for them.

I understand where you're coming from and normally I'd be sceptic as well but I watched each of Verdasco matches against Murray,Tsonga and Nadal and aside from the very high level of tennis Verdasco displayed he was also really rock solid mentally in those matches, saving literally tons of BPs so this strikes me as more than just a talented player who caught fire in one tourney(read Gonzo) but rather a radical change in mental department for him as well. We'll find out in the future anyway.Maybe he even turns out to be a Rafter-type late bloomer, you never know.

Tsonga picked up another title. Ditto for Cilic and Gonzalez. Good going for those guys.

IF Tsonga can stay healthy he could be a legit top 5 player. Gonzo quietly has almost as many titles as Davydenko and two more than Nalbandian. Cilic looks really promising.

I want to take the Sampras/Becker 1996 Masters Final on a nice date and then try for 2nd, maybe 3rd base.

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, 17 years old, working with Peter Lundgren (Federer's coach during 2000-2003) upsets Tomas Berdych in Rotterdam 4-6 6-3 6-4. This is one youngster I'll keep my eyes on.

I don't have a problem with people who like Fed/Nadal. (fans) I have a problem with the people who scrutinize every aspect of these guy's lives, the ****s, if you will.
