Bouchard stakes another claim to her queen hood of this thread this year. Is she even still in top 20?

She's #11 still. She'll drop far down the rankings after Wimbledon, though, assuming she goes out early.

The funny thing is, she doesn't have many points to defend post-Wimbledon because that's when this all started. Her biggest results last year post-Wimbledon were a R16 appearance at the US Open and a final appearance at the Wuhan Open.

It's going to get even uglier for her but maybe that's good. I said in the other thread that she needs to start from scratch.

Laura Robson should put a placard up on Facebook that says "I've never lost 10 out of 11 matches".

Seriously, Bouchard needs a break, or something different. This is descending into car crash territory.

Well we have nearly finished Slam number 3 for 2015. Little update

Aga has reached the SF (her first since AO 2014).
Lisicki unreliable as usual. Only good on grass really but lost 3R
Bouchard should be in powers that be. 1R loss..
Heather Watson did well to reach 3R and push Serena to 3!
    Suarez Navarro unreliable as usual..

Eugenie is making a strong case to be inducted into the elite list. I think she is flexible about the kind of position she prefers.

And she's good on clay. Or was. This is sad.

Bouchard photographed today tucking into a burger and grinning for the camera. I had to smile.

Well, that's a little misleading. She posted the pic herself to her Insta yesterday.

Only she can say what goes through her head when getting beaten like this. It's hard to grasp that she once actually won 7 matches in a row defeating the likes of Serena Williams to win the US Open and got to the final of the French Open the year before. Why has she become so unbelievably inconsistent at winning matches?
