Hi guys,

Tried to google the string differences in mm between Prime and Tough Gut.

Prime Gut Thickness
8.0G/17
8.5G/16L
9.0G/16

Tough Gut Thickness
8.0G/17
8.5G/16L
9.0G/16
9.5G/15L

TIA

To my knowledge, they are the same thickness, for the same gauge of string.

16L is 1.25mm.
I can’t confirm with actual data but I will respectfully disagree. I’ve used classic 16L before and it appeared thicker than 1.25 mm, but I could’ve gotten an inconsistent set/my eyes could’ve been playing tricks on me. I haven’t used Prime or Tough, but I’d assume they would be similar in terms of gauge regularity.

Ok, good point, I haven't actually measured it with calipers, but the package says 1.25.

I have played with tough, classic, and prime and didn't notice any differences in thickness...

For a given gauge, I know it seems thinner than Klip Legend. I've never measured it, but just by how tight my clamps feel on it, I'm sure its thinner.
