...the transitional champion of this prestigious event?
Nope, It would make Djokovic the transitional champion since in 2013 Federer will win MC!
Winning Monte Carlo a record breaking 7 times back to back a transitional champion?
Are we living in a transitional era or tennis?
It "might" sound stupid?
It might sound stupid that the word "transtional" has been to over used between pre-tansitional era and post tansitional era.
Or perhaps it is transcendent
Now we have Nadal fans creating threads demeaning him so other Nadal fans can come to his defense? LOL you guys are a funny bunch
I think you missed the joke, dude.
Yeah, I admit I don't get it, what's going on here?
I made a thread last week asking if Nadal was a transitional champion between the Federer era and Djokovic era, as a joke. And now the OP here is milking the whole 'transitional' thing for all it's worth.
That I understand. But I thought the OP was a Nadal fan. So it would seem that the thread is a mock diss of Nadal. Then other Nadal fans chime in to defend Nadal against the mock diss nature of the thread. Is that not what's going on?
If I understand it correctly, that's a pretty lame way of having to defend Nadal.
At least the OP's premise was correct; this does sound stupid...
You do not understand correctly... Use your illusion and humor.
I doubt that's possible, because Nadal takes the odd years off to perform in the even years, especially Olympic years. I think next year Nadal will be serious about securing the Calendar Year Gold Slam, and Monte Carlo is a good warm-up event to win to lock up the French/Wimbledon.
 I think you're just blowing smoke up everyone's a** when you post this kind of stuff.
You have to admit though that it was funny
Nikdom and humor? It's like wringing a dry bone for water, lol
Good one, Goat Baah !
It never occurred to me, not EVEN REMOTELY that this might come to pass.
