I've just seen this guy twice this year, against Agassi at the AO and at the US open against Haas.
But to me this guy was very talented, har/ controlled strokes from the bassline, his serve is ok and he needs to work on his backhand, but the guy is only 19!
Do you think he could compete with the 'big players' in 2005 or 2006?

Barring injury, he is going to kick some a-s-s. He's got the goods, no doubt about it. I think he is better than Tommy Haas, younger, and healthier.

I saw him at the US Open practice day this year. He's really talented, but extremely picky! He spent probably about a half hour staring at two racquets deciding which one to play with.

I think he is overrated a bit based on his one biggest win, his win over Roger Federer at the Olympics. That was a big win, even though some people roll their eyes when they think of the significance of beating a top player in the Olympics . He needs to demonstrate a few more noticeable performances though. He is way beyond somebody like Nadal, in my eyes anyway, at the moment.
