Nobody is talking about him. He has a strong lefty FH with some top spin, great serve, pretty good all around, nice feel for drop shots. Many consider him a future Clay court great. I would keep an eye on this guy.

Even if he gets by Ljubicic in the 3rd, he'd have to face Rafa in the 4th. I don't see him getting by Rafa, no way.

Add a more deserving Gulbis to the list, even if he's not expected to go past Fed in a 3 out of 5

Yep, I remember that one. Think the first set went 7-5 in favor of Nadal.

Nadal was also playing out of his mind in 08'.

I like his game. But even my Brazilian friends say he's mentally weak. Maybe next yr...

I had my eye on him. He blew it against Almagro in Miami and has done very little on clay this year, so I don't know why he'd show up for RG. hopefully next year

Djoker was a harder match. No one took a set off Rafa, but Djoker pushed him to a tiebreaker.

Gasquet. I'm putting Andy Murray on upset alert in his first match.

I hate how some people pick obvious darkhorses like: Almagro, Gulbis, Soderling, or even Ferrer! Those are the favorites right after Nadal and Federer. Those are only darkhorses for people that haven't watched any of the clay season. Real darkhorses are players like Bellucci, Berdych, Montanes, or even Querrey. I saw someone on ESPN.com pick Henin as their darkhorse. How dumb. Good luck, actual darkhorses. Make things interesting.

Bellucci hasn't played well at all all this clay season, and i doubt he will do anything.

A real claycourter can't beat Nadal on clay if he's fit. It's got to be a Gulbis, Almagro, Soderling, Del Potro, Cilic type of player.

Or of course absolutely great players like Federer and Djokovic when they're on fire.
