I know it's not strictly tennis related; but he's friends with Roger etc.

    Let's hope he's OK.

He crashed while pulling out of his driveway and he's in serious condition??? There must have been another car involved unless he was he pulling out of his driveway at 40mph.

Man, terrible news though. I hope he is ok.

Edit: Guess it was a one-car-accident.

Hopefully he comes out of this with as minimal damage as possible.

  9. CNN just said he has been released with a few facial bruises, nothing serious at all.

That is good news. Hopefully that is all it is, and basically everything goes back to normal.

How does one hit a fire hydrant and then a tree without being under the influence of alcohol? I smell cover-up.

BBC reported he's out of hospital as well..
It was pretty scary when I first saw the reports of him being critical.
Thankfully it dosent look like it.
    I hope he recovers soon.

BBC says there's been conflicting reports, but that Tiger's agent says he's fine.

The BBC aren't a commercial organisation - they are publicly funded.

They were reporting based on "unconfirmed reports" from America. So their information at first may not have been totally accurate.

Especially since he was driving a Cadillac Escalade, which is a humongous SUV, bigger than most tanks.

There's no way he could have been "seriously" injured pulling out of his driveway in that monstrosity even if he hit smack into a brick wall.
