    Hi everyone,

I recently took some video of myself hitting and realized that many of my backhand problems are because I am constantly late on the backhand side. Specifically, when the ball lands on my court, I still am moving my racket backwards. I have a two-handed backhand and I'd ideally like to emulate the Nalbandian backhand...

My questions for you experts are

    1) Is having the backswing complete when the ball lands on my side of the court a good reference point?
    2) What are drills that I can do (example I'm using the ball, hit, now sequence to improve my timing)
    3) Anything else that helps!

    Thanks,
    L

kinda sounds like your having some footing problems, maybe if you have correct footing and swing a little faster(or get a lighter racquet) youll have the timing down.
dont know if this helps though, but i hope it does.
