I have a customer with a Babolat PD who tried this combination. We were looking to achieve additional control and tame that Babolat beast. We used TiMo 18 at 62 lbs and LaserFibre Synthetic Gut 17 at 64 lbs. (The LF is a soft syn gut) He loved it. He also allowed a teammate who also plays the PD to hit with his stick and he decided to go that way also. This was my first forray into a hybrid with TiMo. If their elbows survive, it may be a good way to tame the power and add control. So far the feedback has been positive. We'll see what happens in the long run.

I've got that set up, now . . . Lots of spin and power, but still wears on the arm.

I use this setup for singles, especially against better players.
