Are hybrid strings always better then one main type of string?

    Hmmm. Maybe yes.

Is a poly/multi and gut hybrid better than all gut? Certainly cheaper.

Is a poly and multi/synth hybrid better than all poly? Definitely IMO. (More feel and touch, better on your arm.)

Good point. If you want max feel, touch, and power--then all nat gut is the way to go.

and if you want max spin, control, and a nice low power- then full poly is the way to go.

There isn't really a right answer for your question - it depends on your playing style, what you expect from your string etc

But what's true is that a poly and a softer string hybrid is quite popular among tennis players.
