So i have a PDGt right? Its a 4 1/2 and i have an overgrip on it cause i thought it felt right at the time. I recently took it off and saw that the normal grip was ruined, once white it was now whit with black everywhere. It felt like crap..no tack of feel to it.

Should I take this off and put an over grip on the handle? does that even work?

Should I just add an over grip again? but i might be sacrificing more spin etc.

Do you need to take out an original overgrip completely before applyng a new overgrip?

Yes? I'm not sure what you're asking, but yes. Cause putting on an overgrip on top of an old one is just, bad. It just makes it bigger =/

I'd go and purchase another overgrip to put on your replacement grip. Do you not like using an overgrip?

You can always wrap two overgrips over a bare handle if you don't like how thick your grip is. It will significantly decrease your grip size. I wouldn't recommend using only one because you will get MAJOR callouses.

Nah man, I like OG's, I actually have some more left. And yeah, I just put another one on there.

"You can always wrap two overgrips over a bare handle if you don't like how thick your grip is. It will significantly decrease your grip size. I wouldn't recommend using only one because you will get MAJOR callouses."

Thats the thing, my racquet is 4/8 and i feel like i'd get more spin feel control etc if it were smaller.

Also, i play a lotta string instruments, never get calluses, but if i do use two OG's and NO normal grip, how bad can it be for my arm and stuff?
