No it isn't. This was the part of the comment you bolded:

What is nonsense about that? Right now because of Roger's achievements he has to be seen as the greater player but, they are both tennis greats and will be remembered forever, that is the truth. Nadal could retire tomorrow and not hit another tennis ball and he would be one of the top five all time greats. What is nonsense about that?

He tells his nephew, who beats Federer over and over, that Federer is better, and he just has to deal with that reality.

OK, let's be real here...that's just pure motivation at work, not actual belief.

Federer is definitely better than Toni Nadal, and Rafa should just accept it

It doesn't matter what Toni said in order for Nadal to know who's better. He's 25 now, if he doesn't acknowledge that Fed is better than him then something is seriously wrong with him. You can fool a kid that Superman does exist, but eventually he'll know that it's just a comic book superhero.

He's still got a winning head to head with Federer, in a sense he is better.

    Nadal is 26.

Federer is the greater player because of his overall achievements and he is the more naturally talented player, but, in their matches on the big stages, Nadal is the "stronger" player. I am not saying Nadal is the better player but the stronger player in their slam match-ups. There really is no way to argue against that fact(and yes I know the majority of their matches have been on clay which is advantage Nadal.) There is a huge mental component in their match-ups at this point and Nadal uses that to his advantage, no doubt about it.

Also the fact that Uncle Toni tells Nadal that Federer is the superior player is definitely a psychological tactic that Toni is using in order for Nadal to go out there and play his very best against Federer time after time, it is no coincidence. Uncle Toni is a wise and sneaky guy, he knows what he is doing.

Ms. Nadal is definitely some smarta$$ poster posting with a "different" identity as Ms. Nadal. Not sure if it is NSK, or some other big Nadal fan like him or if it is a huge Federer fan/Nadal hater. It is definitely one of those options and the Ms. Nadal persona is not for real, that much is for sure.

This is not new news. Nadal has always stated that he thinks Federer is better than him in EVERY interview I've ever seen with Nadal when this topic has come up.

He knows it, we know it, the entire world knows it. :)

Nadal knows he's not as good nor as talented as Federer so he has to win through sheer determination, guts, and grinding. That's why even though Federer is 5 years older than Nadal and has played many more matches than Nadal has, Federer is still #1 in the world while Nadal's knees are already done and dusted. :(

I think it's about time that Toni cut out the crap because he isn't fooling Nadal anymore because he's no longer a kid. Of course I could be wrong if Nadal can't think/reason for himself(e.g. keep looking up into his box for toni's sign/signal during the match).

Obvious a troll and a phony as well, pretending to be a fan of Nadal. In the troll's 1st thead ("Anyone miss Nadal?"), she herself posts about how the game's better off and that it's "nice and quiet" without Nadal.

    Tool.

I think it is a good motivation tool Toni uses to ensure Nadal plays his extra best when he plays Federer in slams. Obviously it has worked. Even though Nadal is an adult and can think for himself, Toni has used these psychological training techniques for Nadal since Nadal was a kid and it is just a part of who Nadal is.

Think about it, Toni knew Federer was the more talented player so he had to come up with other methods for Nadal to beat Federer. Nadal does not just beat Federer with his lefty topspin high bouncing balls to Federer's backhand, he also beats Federer because of the mental advantage Nadal has built up against Federer. The brains behind all of this was Toni and he was smart, no way around it. From day one, Nadal has played Federer with seemingly no fear, that was all Toni's doing--i.e. go out there and have no fear against a guy who is more talented than you are and you have a much better chance.

Thanks Chrissti! Just like everyone else on here! Rafa has been whinging too much and that is why I said it has been quiet without him! I can criticise him sometimes! I like him but doesn't mean I have to agree with all that he does. Nobody is perfect! I will never convince you guys, I don't like Rafa whinging because everyone jumps on it like people on here! don't think it is good for him to moan so much. I wanted to see if people missed him as I was and it has been turned into a hater thing. What nonsense! Then you all ignore me as far as I am concerned you all love Roger. Even ypu Chrissti Rafa fan my foot. You guys never stick up for him!

Am done with in here so you all got what you wanted. Nobody gave me a chance in here. For some unknown my username offended people in here from the off and then I was forever accused of being a Rafa hater! How mad does that sound. I can't believe the logic myself. I am a huge Rafa fan and nobody ever noticed! Just because you are a fan of a player doesn't mean I have to agree with all he does. He does moan too much about things and I think it's not always good for him to do! Hence, all of you are always tearing him down because he talks about the hardcourts. That is why I prefer him to keep his thoughts to himself at times! How can that be a hater?! Simply a difference of opinion!. I was looking forward to good banter in here and all of you made me feel so unwelcome! Gosh what a horrible bunch of people you are! Calling me all these other people whose names mean nothing to me. Anyway, you won't see me in here again. I have other sites that appreciate my views and don't see me as having alterior motives. Which is totally off the mark with no proof!! Good luck to you all, you all deserve each other. I would never recommend any mates of mine to join this hostile forum. You don't want new members, you are very close knit and make new people feel unwelcome. You all view newbies as enemies!Too obsessed with trolls that you mistake people for them. Enjoy your close knit forum full of narrow minded surfers! Glad not to be in the club!. I like to share my time with intelligent people! Plus you all love Federer! That is why you don't know a real Rafa fan when you see one. Rafa is the best! Roger is just Mr Traditional who the whole world goes with! So boring to go with the general consensus. But, you guys are just narrow minded dots!

Come on! Give it up. The fact is that you you tried to create a new identity who claimed to be a Nadal fan but your over the top posts and language you used gave you up early for any perceptive person. Not everybody is stupid you know!

You get an A- for effort, how is that, although I can't for the life of me understand how anybody on a tennis forum would want to have multiple accounts and aliases. How scary is that?

Bullzilla or it could be a Federer fan who has been banned and is trying to act like a gushing Nadal fan. Either way it is obvious it is an alias, very obvious, lol.

That is what I suggested a while back. Sounded like DFTW to me. It could be him or it could be NSK/Bullzilla. Either way there is no question that poster is an alias and a very obvious one. He or she needs to take some psych courses to figure out how to be a less obvious alias, lol.

This isn't 2010 anymore. That was the final year that Nadal won something off clay. Now at nearing 27 and with the rise of Murray and Djokovic, the window to winning anything on hardcourts is closing....fast!

For Nadal to only win 1 USO and 1 AO is pretty disappointing considering the courts have been considerably slowed down to suit his style of game.

Rafa beats Fed in AO final but still says Roger's the best.

Ask yourself, if you were told that you had to bet your LIFE on who would win between Fed and Rafa at a RANDOM major, who would you bet on?

Rafa's beaten him in 3/4 majors and if you think Wimbleodn gives Fed an advantage don't kid yourself, baby Rafa almost beat him there, prime Rafa would beat him. The only unknown is the USO but considering Rafa's h2h against Fed in outdoor HC matches, you'd be crazy to bet against Rafa in that one too.

Yeah match-ups make a huge difference in tennis so of course Federer is going to have a hard time against Rafa.

Replace Federer with Djokovic and I would bet my life on Djokovic to win at a RANDOM major every time. Djokovic has become a nightmare match-up for Rafa on any surface (Clay included).

baby rafa ? LOL .... that was probably the 2nd best grass court match he's played ... probably the best off the ground ...

if it is known it is outside of clay, people shouldn't have trouble betting on federer ..... both AO matches were with federer not near his best/peak ...

They weren't talking about 2008,they were talking about 2007 where Nadal DID push Fed,and probably would have won it if he didn't get screwed over by the scheduling.

And don't give me that mono crap. Fed fans are quick to label Nadal an excuse maker, but don't hesitate to drag out the old standby mono excuse for every loss he had in 2008(and after as well it seems). Fed was not sick anymore by Wimby, and sleepwalked his way to the final without even dropping a set. Unless he only had mono in the final,he was NOT sick, and even said so himself.
