The Air Assailants were great, but i also prefer the air ablaze from back in 1997/98. His recent adidas shoes are boring

On their page 4, the Air Challenge Huarache, they have the wrong shoes in the pic of Agassi lying down. Those are actually the Air Tech Challenge IV... which were amongst the best Agassi shoes ever - and certainly better/cooler than the Huarache.

YES! The Air TC I and IV were the best- surprised the Air tech II lead in the vote- those were horrible to play in.

I didn't realize until now, but my friend found a pair of brand new Air Flares in 2009 when he was in Korea. Pretty cool.

    Thanks for the link, OP!

I only see one shoe. Can't find a way to get to another page.
    ?????

    Edit:
Strange, the page numbers came up in Firefox, but not in my Internet Explorer. So it works in Firefox.

I wore the air challenge lwp when I was 15, and I swear it was the most comfortable pair of shoes I ever used for tennis.

However I also thrashed them playing soccer... what a waste!

Maybe it's just me, but not a single pair of those shoes looks comfortable in any way. Kind of a bunch of clunkers.

Wow nice find! You can tell a lot of today's shoes are inspired by older models! Can't believe those mid tops were good enough to run with on the tennis court ..

Love the Air Tech Challenge as it looks like the CB 2.3's like CANTGETENOUGHTENNIS! also noticed : >

I'm not 100% sure but imo they got the models of the Air tech challenge 1 & 2 wrong, as they say the model 1 is the 2 and it's the other way around!

to me it's the air tech chalenge series - all of them, then the flares the Challenge LWP's and the assailants. but my all time favourites for the court were the Oscillates!!!

ps: BIBS... you are absolutely clueless!!!! most of those shoes were very light, with great traction (granted they did not last long) and very confortable! especially the LWP's & Assailants

You're almost correct. They have the the ATC 3 on the page saying ATC ... and the ATC II page is correct.

This here is the original Air Tech Challenge... (another colourway way more popular but I can't find a pic)

And they had Agassi wearing a different shoe on the page for the ATC 4 but have now changed the pic.

Those were the ATC Low. Here is the more popular color way for the ATC 3/4.

The other more popular color way was the white/berry/blue that came out for the summer/fall 1989.

I wore the Air Trainer I way back then, popular shoe. The ATC low top looks very similiar to the CB 2.3, first time I've seen the low top version.

Off topic, but after trying the CB 3.3 recently, I have not been that impressed. Uncomfortable shoe to say the least, especially when comparing them to the CB 1.3, have not tried the 2.3.

I had several of these shoes- Agassi killed the shoe game. My favs on that list are easily the Air Trainer 1's- but I thought they were Mcenroe's and Agassi just wore them...hmph.

Yes, the Air Trainer 1 was McEnroe's shoe. He started wearing them in the fall of 1987 after the 87' US Open.

The LWP were bad azz. I still love the first ATC 1 in orange and blue. You could throw them in the laundry.

I have a special place in my heart for the Alarm. First tennis-specific shoes I ever had- White/Green/Black.

I agree- the LWP's were awesome- had the Black/Metallic Orange. Not very good durability though.

Also had the Zoom Air Challenge- White/Black/Red- and those were probably my favorite.
