I skipped 4 GS in my poll as they would be on top of course
Beijing? And you're missing Cincinnati, the true slam.
sorry, first time i did that so i had to modify it
just teasing, but which venue would you like to add to GS list? think of dates, places and schedule
why you skipped few masters?
Top 10 Tournaments should be composed of : Basel, Pais-Bercy, WTF, Rotterdam, Dubai, Indian Wells, Madrid and the next three different tournaments Federer wins.
I focused on joint with purse 2 mil+
which one do you have in mind that fits this criteria
Clearly you haven't been in the mini-Monte Carlo called Båstad...
My favorite tournaments are Monte-Carlo, RG, Wimbledon and Indian Wells.
My least favorite tournament is Cincinnati (and Madrid naturally but that's more a circus than a tournament).
The year-end championship is always fun to watch because of how quickly the ball travels and so few surfaces are on indoors now. Of course, that can turn it into an ace/winner/UE-fest.
Aside from that, clay's my favourite surface to view. I like the rallies and there's something about that orange colour...
Monte Carlo is only man, doesn't qualify for GS
Beijing is x2 the money (same as IW or Miami)
Why is Tokyo there instead of Paris Masters?
uhmm,? good point, somehow, not so good after all.
you are right, Tokyo is only WTA but Paris is only ATP, so you are very welcome to check Other box, neither of them would be however even a long shot to be a GS consideration
no love for rome ?
WTF, Cinci, Canada
Where is Monte Carlo? My favs are MC, RG, Wimbledon, Indian Wells, Rome.
it helps if you read previous posts "Monte Carlo is only man, doesn't qualify for GS" and GS's are not included for very obvious reason
Geez, sorry. Didn't realize you were the message board copper. I'll try and do better next time.
no need to be sorry, every input is appreciated, that's why we are all in here after all WE LOVE TENNIS
you forgot about Rome and Barcelona
My fave tournaments
My least fave tournaments
Madrid is clearly the most entertaining, innovative and well organized. Your all jealous of tiriacs money its either that or his moustache.
Wtf should be regarded as being higher than the others
Like the grand slam events the wtf is clearly above these other events so shouldn't be in the list. So what is the number 1 event AFTER the WTF? I would say it is probably miami or rome, though monte carlo has all the fantastic history, so maybe that one.
wtf, Cincy, Indian Wells
Obviously Madrid.
Nadal says Olympics btw
providing there is no blue grass there,
Cincy is great. Great tournament to attend, and love the angle they use for TV. I also really like IW.
YEC, Madrid and The Real Slam.
The only reservation I have about YEC is this is a split event. If it was held in the same city at the same time for both men and women it would have a "flavour" of GS event. The way it is right now is just a big money winning machine
At this point Miami has more ambiance, and this is what makes a true GS being so good. Both Miami and YEC fit the time gap nicely.
Again, M/C is only ATP
As a slam, Cincy seems a strange option
Separate names with a comma.
