Top 15 men and women all time broken into categories of styles of play.

    If you were to break the the top 15 men and women players all time into categories of playing style, and then rank them from top to bottom in those categories of players they are what would it look like? Mine would be:


    Men:

    Baseliners/Return specialists

    1. Borg
    2. Federer
    3. Connors
    4. Agassi
    5. Rosewall
    6. Lendl


    Serve-volley/chip-charge specialists

    1. Sampras
    2. Gonzalez
    3. Kramer
    4. McEnroe


    All around/all court players

    1. Laver
    2. Budge
    3. Tilden
    4. Perry



    Women:

    Baseline/return specialists

    1. Helen Wills Moody
    2. Chris Evert
    3. Monica Seles(would be #1 without stabbing though)
    4. Maureen Connoly(would be #1 without cripping accident)
    5. Steffi Graf



    Serve-volley/chip-charge specialists

    1. Martina Navratilova
    2. Margaret Court
    3. Billie Jean King
    4. Doris Hart
    5. Shirley Fry


    All around/all court players

    1. Suzanne Lenglen
    2. Serena Williams
    3. Evonne Goolagong
    4. Maria Bueno
    5. Althea Gibson

    Edberg would be number 1 in terms of serve and volley but he doesnt have 14 GS.
