So, I tried this string and liked it when mixed with natural gut. I'm going to buy more, but I'm really confused about the price.

On the TW website, a single package is $7.49 (40ft, 12.2m), but a 722ft (220m) reel is $67.90. Doing the math, I estimate getting 18 full string jobs out of the reel (722 / 40).

So, effectively I would be paying $3.76 per package ($67.90 / 18 ). This is a 50% savings if you buy the reel!

Am I missing something? I know you usually save a little when buying a reel (10% at most), but 50%?!?! Is my math correct? I know its been a while since grade school, but they haven't changed the rules of division or multiplication, have they?

CyberFlash reels are arguably one of the best values currently available.

Yes, CF has always been a great bargain in reels. You're not missing anything -- just buy it.

Good for you. CF also hybrids great with the $30 reel of Gosen OG Micro, which brings the cost down below $3 a job.

    Topsin is the best value!

    Another Example:

The combination of Topspin Cyber Blue 17L mains (1.22 gauge; 225 lbs/in stiffness; 18.17 lbs tension loss) with Klip Kicker 17 (1.24 gauge; 190 lbs/in stiffness; 11.68 lbs tension loss) = excellent value for a hybrid.

Both are available in reels at an economical price so the cost to string one hybrid racquet is around $3.64 ($2.36 for the Cyber Blue main and $1.28 for the Klip Kicker cross). Both are thin -- 17L and 17 gauge strings -- offering good bite and spin, while the Klip Kicker further softens the Cyber Blue mains.

No arm pain, lots of bite, powerful, yet you can still take some pretty big cuts and keep the ball in the court. Plus the blue mains and gold crosses = UCLA Bruin colors!!

You can also do the mini reel of CF for $35 for the same savings if you don't want to put up the $ for a full reel.

TW doesn't carry the mini reel. But the 'Home Depot' string place does.

    I bought the mini reel...

If you get on the depot's mailing list, they send out sale notices, which makes CF even cheaper.

^^^^^ Go to the home page for Strings Depot Plus and on their home page there's a box that says "Sign up for our Email Newsletter and Receive Weekly Specials and Updates." This past May, I got a reel of CF from their email sale for $54.90.

Yeah, that $54.90 deal even after shipping to Australia was one of the best deals Ive got in strings for a long time. Great string and hybrid with Gosen OG Sheep/Pro Supex titan/Forten Sweet/Klip Kicker or syn gut for the best performance setups for the price on the market.
