Hi everyone, i am looking for a new racquet that can generate for me a lot of topspin. Weight isnt a problem, yet most of the player racquets often have dense string patterns - something that isnt too good for me! I need a player's racquet that has an open string pattern and basically a racquet that can generate a lot of topspin. My current racquet at the moment, is the old Volkl Quantum 8 (not the TOUR 8) and that racquet has dense string pattern, but it is pretty light so i can whip through the ball and generate decent topspin. I also want a racquet that also provides a little power.

Head heavy racquets seem to generate spin with greater ease.

How so? To produce greater top spin is to have the racquet head brush up faster upon ball contact, so there for head light racquets will be best suited for that. Head heavy racquets are more stable if ball is hit off centered. POG, RD-7, Wilson PS are all head light racquets.
