Volkl Tour 10 MP (98 sq. in.) and Volkl C10 Pro (98 sq. in.)

    Looking for some feedback on:

    1) either of theses two racquets

    2) both of these racquets

    and/or

    3) a head to head comparison of the two racquets (power, spin, volleys, serves, control, advantages, disadvantages, etc.)

    Thanks.

This topic has been covered pretty well on this board recently. Do a search and you'll find quite a bit of info.

I just switched to the C10 Pro from the Tour 10 MP. Before the Tour 10MP I was playing with the Quantum Tour 10 and before that the C10 ProTour. (I'm a VOLKL fan - think they make the best racquets out there). Anyway, the comparison b/w the C10 Pro and the Tour 10 MP:

    1. The Tour 10 MP feels a little more solid on contact.
    2. Thr C10 Pro is a little heavier but plays noticeably lighter than the Tour 10 MP.
    3. The C10 Pro is more head light
    4. Different grip systems
    5. Different grommets

Both are great choices, but I give my vote to the C10 Pro

Yes. look for the posts by "Rabbit". He's the real expert on these two. I've only played with the tour 10 MP. I liked everything about it except the serve where it just didn't give me as much pop as I wanted. But if I'm just playing social tennis, I'd still be using it cause it is heavy enough but very comfortable and no arm problems at all.

here are the stats of these two great frames. most everything else is subjective. i also thought the t10mp not so good at serving at first, but after working w. her for a month or so, she serves great location and powerwise. feelwise, the t10mp feels a little firmer but not stiff (the hoop is stiffer) and the c10 feels kind of noodlely (flexy) in the head to me. both are frames that are good at everything and perfect for an all courter w. some skills.
