Hi if any 4.5+ players have tried these two strings please let me know how they compare. In the past I used a poly crossed with Power Fiber for a number of years and loved it. I have since gone to Gosen Sheep Micro synthetic on the crosses but I want something softer again. I am a 5.0-5.5 level player. The price difference in the Tourna Quasi Gut String 16 is quite substantial, so it would be nice to used this if it is comparable to Power Fiber. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Tourna Quasi Gut 16 and Tecnifibre NRG2 16 are the two worst strings for spin. If you hit flat, both have nice pocketing and might suit your game.

I used to play with full beds of Quasi Gut when coming back from poly-elbow, and will use it in hybrids during the busy seasons. Its filled with PU so its comfortable and pretty powerful, goes best with less powerful poly. Power Fiber in a full bed felt a little stiffer, crisper and less lively to me so I stuck with QGUT.
