I just got some Tournagrip but when I tried to wrap it, it only reached up to 3/4 up the handle! Is there a different way to wrap TournaGrip? Or am I not wrapping it right?

on my old APD+ it did not wrap all the way up, i think the +.5 in makes a difference.

I easily make it up the handle on my ag 200s. You just have to pull tight and keep a very small even over lap. What raquet do you have?

did u buy the XL version or the normal version, even with the XL, you'll also have to do what Matty G said.

Yep, one of my biggest gripes with tourna grip. I'd actually use it more often if I didn't have to buy a special version of it (XL) just to get the grip all the way up my handle(s).

unless you've got a rather large handle size, it should fit well

if the XL doesn't fit, rest assured you're using too much overlap no matter how big your grip is. I can get an XL to go way up the throat even with a 4 5/8 grip size.

as can i on a Yonex rqis 1, which surprised me at the time. you just have to have the right angle and overlap, and always keep it stretched.

by the way, it was a 5/8 built up with a heatshrink half a gripsize bigger, with babolat syntec replacement grip :)

I used to use tournagrip and I do like them, but the Yonex overgrips are far superior. Try them out, I haven't had problems fitting them on my Rqis 1's.

    Cheers,

    Tim

Tim, they are totally different grips... Supergrap is horrid for someone who sweats even a little.
