I can't believe we have to pay 32.00$+ for a single tournament, for a mere can of balls?

Most of us are running from one side of the
state already, food, hotel accomodations, etc.

    what do you guys think?

Does some of the money go to the USTA and some to the tournament director? I am not sure how all it works, but I do know that I have never heard anyone say that tennis is a cheap sport to get into.

    $40-$75 here.

I dunno, if you are playing at a nice club that it would be 15 grand to join, or you are playing indoors where court time would be about $50 an hour, it doesn't seem too much.

50 bucks a tourney, 20 tourneys a year, works out to a grand, pretty much the least of my tennis expenses.

80 bucks for ITF Texas qualies. Cheaper in most other places.. That Waco center was great though.

$32.00 for a tournament...if you think that is expensive than you should be even more surprised...for a national tournament the entry fee can go up to $100.00 and the airplane ticket plus the hotel room. In my section (eastern), $32.00 for a entry fee is nothing:D

Yea same sectional is like 80 bucks, and other tournaments are like 40 or 50 bucks.

Mid-40's around here and it only keeps going up. Outdoors is much better though.

i'm here with you on this one mark.

    i think 32.00 is outrageous!

i mean, where is this money really going to? why don't i just draw up a tourney myself and go play at the park!!! (but i know it wont count for USTA pts)
