tournaments in new england

    all right so im almost 13 year old 4.0 player, and im playing first tourney tommorow . . . its a level six doubles. i looked on tennis link and there were only 2 or 3 tournaments (level 6 or 7) within 50 miles of where i live (southern suburb of boston) do the number of tournaments increase in the summer?

    ya tournaments do increase during the summer. and usually there cheaper too. i'm from southern mass too and i also noticed that there hasn't really been many tournaments lately

    There are quite a few tournaments in CT over the winter, but they might be far from you, usually in Rocky Hill, Farmington, or Bloomfield. Are you playing in the one at Sacred Heart, or Grande Meadows?

    Yeah, Grande Meadows usually has a ton of tournaments in the fall/winter. There's usually pretty good competion too-Longmeadow is stacked, plus kids like Wayne Harrell play out of there too.

    A lot of good kids play there. Dan Hirschberg, Mac Cahill, Tom O'brien, and pretty much everyone in the top 25 play there. Last year I played two and lost to Mac both times
